This game is made by Tencent TiMi Studio, a developer who develops popular online games such as Honor of Kings and Call of Duty: Mobile. This game will be available on Nintendo Switch and mobile games.

Quoting the official website on Thursday (6/25/2020), Pokemon Unite is a team battle strategy game with a 5 against 5 scheme. Each team will work together to capture wild pokemon, increase its level and make it evolve.

Each team will also fight Pokemon to get points. Pokemon Unite also uses multi-line maps such as team-based strategy games in general.

One uniqueness of this game is that it can be cross-platform. This means that Nintendo Switch users can be teammates or opponents with cellphone game users when online together. This game will be available for free.

Then when will this game be launched? Neither Tencent nor the Pokemon Company gave a definitive answer about the Pokemon moba release date, but it is likely to be launched this year.
